About Drone Pro Media

Drone Pro Media is a Denver-based aerial photography and video production company working across Colorado. We fly FAA Part 107 certified, carry $10 million in liability insurance, and have delivered more than 900 projects for real estate, construction, architecture, events, tourism and infrastructure clients.

How it started

The company was founded in 2014, though the work started earlier — with a drone built by hand in 2010, back when that was the only way to get a camera in the air reliably. Graham Hill came to it from GIS and motion graphics and saw the drone as a new way to capture data rather than just footage. That background still shapes how we work: we think about what the imagery is for, not only how it looks.

What we actually do

Most people find us for aerial work, and that is still the core: aerial photography up to 20 megapixels and aerial video at 5K from cinema platforms including the DJI Inspire 3, Mavic 3 Pro and custom FPV rigs.

But a lot of projects need more than the sky. We shoot ground photography and ground video on the same visit, with professional lighting, Sony Alpha bodies and Ronin stabilizers, and we run full post-production: colour grading, motion graphics, 3D modelling and rendering. Booking aerial and ground together is usually cheaper and always more consistent than hiring two crews.

Who we work with

Our work has appeared with Discovery Channel, National Geographic and Good Morning America, and we have shot commercial campaigns for Ford, Jeep and Coors. Locally we work with JLL, Colliers International, HFF, Namaste Solar and The Public Works, alongside a long list of Colorado real estate agents, builders, developers and event organisers.

How we work

Every shoot starts with planning — airspace, weather, permits and flight paths. Restricted airspace near airports and stadiums needs FAA authorization, which we handle rather than hand back to you. We survey the site, agree the shot list, and shoot aerial and ground in one visit where it makes sense. Edited, colour-graded files land within 48 to 72 hours.

If weather makes a shoot unsafe or the results would be poor, we reschedule at no charge. A mediocre shoot is worth less to both of us than a delayed one. See the full process.

Where we work

Denver and the surrounding metro is home, and we cover the state: Boulder, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Summit County, the Vail Valley, Aspen and the Roaring Fork, Steamboat, Durango, Grand Junction and Pueblo. Travel fees may apply beyond two hours from Denver. See all locations.
